This is a beautiful piece, but I'm left wondering: what about dysfunctional families, such as when one parent is an alcoholic or mentally ill? At what point is it okay to walk away from the marriage "for the children"?

Thanks - love YourPR!

Beautifly done, my lovely wife. We are so fortunate to have gotten the gift of "marriage" education from our family and friends.

So, until death do us part....no we'll still be together in heaven (Dear Lord, no bossing me around in heaven!)

Hello,

I love the comment. I've been married for 38 years and on the day we married, neither of us had a shred of doubt about whether marrying each other was the right thing to do. So, I'd like to add, that if either of you have a niggling feeling that it's not quite right, don't get married in the first place!
