thank you for putting so much effort and time into this podcast. i listened to the entire thing.. some of the stories brought tears to my eyes. the lessons i learned from this podcast made a deep impression on my view of marriage and choosing wisely.

This is a beautiful piece, but I’m left wondering: what about dysfunctional families, such as when one parent is an alcoholic or mentally ill? At what point is it okay to walk away from the marriage “for the children”?

I love the comment. I’ve been married for 38 years and on the day we married, neither of us had a shred of doubt about whether marrying each other was the right thing to do. So, I’d like to add, that if either of you have a niggling feeling that it’s not quite right, don’t get married in the first place!

Nice work David! If it wasn’t for your eldest son, I’d say you’ve done an excellent job teaching your kids about personal finance. Maybe in these troubled economic times we should propose that all 5 year olds should have to get jobs and pay for their own clothes… it seemed to work 80 years ago.

yo man, I very much enjoyed delving into the innards of your brain for the past 27 minutes it was much better than reading a book. Call me, I have some good info on voice over equipment. I don’t know if I’ve sent you my demo. But you need to be doing voiceovers. Talk about a great way to make money. I don’t know if you’ve ever looked into it, but you should because you’d be perfect for it. I also want to hear more episodes from Queen Bea and Manboy. Besides just making them creatures in your mind, they need a journey, or characters like them. You are a highly skilled vocalist my dear family and we need to exploit this skill in you. Call me.

I really liked your definition of what a photograph is in comparison to a snapshot.

India is a really good place for people who need to learn to let go a little. You’ll probably find things much less stressful when you return.

Your voice is very pleasant and radio appropriate. You should consider doing these things more often.

You’re much less violent now as a grown up child than a regular child. I loved all the characters. I have a research paper I wrote in 4th grade about Minnesota that is very likely the best thing I’ve ever written.

This was great. You should come up to San Luis Obispo and teach a lot of the club DJs how it’s done. They take out the break beats and backgrounds that made the song famous and good in the first place and replace it with something way generic. You take the best parts of the song and accentuate them and add more break beats on top of that. Excellent.
